SELECTION AND USE OF SUPPLEMENTARY MATERIALS AND ACTIVITIES

Supplementary materials are books and other materials we can use in adittion to the coursebook. They include skills, developmental materials, grammar, vocabulary, and phonology, collections of communicative activities.Supplementary materials may also como from authentic sources.

Teachers must select supplementary materials depending on students´needs and learners.

Main reasons for selecting supplementary materials:

• To replace unsuitablemaerial
• To provide material using from the coursebook
• To add variety
• To give learners extra language
